When first adding the Manager scope to a user, the default setting is for this role to apply to all users. If your school or district is utilizing has multiple roles being in the platform, the default will provide the Manager with too much access as it will apply across roles. The steps below will walk through how to assign the scope for the manager role to the exact team members needed.
Setting Manager Scope
To limit down visibility of the Manager, you will uncheck the default box.
This will allow you to set visibility to specific users that the Manager holds responsibility
For example: if you are the Manager for all counselors, you would select each user on the list that has the counselor role.
By selecting your specific list of users, you will ensure accurate analytics.
Once your list of users is selected, to complete, click the Update button.
