How to: Manage Student Tags

Users with the Manager role can rename and archive existing Student tags to better control and curate the tags in use. This article outlines how to:

How to Create a New Student Tag

Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Instance settings page.

And then select 'Student tags.'

Step Two: Select the 'Create new tag' button.

Step Three: In the pop-up window, give the tag an appropriate name in the 'Tag name' field.

Step Four: Select which of the roles that you have the tag should be visible to.

Step Five: Select 'Confirm.'

How to Rename a Student Tag

Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Student tags page.

Step Two: In the table of tags, select the 'Edit tag' button for the appropriate tag.

Step Three: Update the 'Tag name' field with the new name of the tag.

Step Four: Select 'Confirm.'

How to archive an Existing Student Tag

Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Student tags page.

Step Two: In the table of tags, select the 'Archive tag' button for the appropriate tag.

Step Three: In the pop-up window, select 'Yes' to confirm its archiving.

  • Note: You may need to refresh the page to see the tag disappear from the table.
