As of August 2024, users with the Manager role are the only users who can create new Student tags in the August platform. Additionally, these users can now also rename and archive existing Student tags to better control and curate the tags in use. This article outlines how to:

How to Create a New Student Tag
Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Instance settings page.
And then select 'Student tags.'
Step Two: Select the 'Create new tag' button.
Step Three: In the pop-up window, give the tag an appropriate name in the 'Tag name' field.
Step Four: Select which of the roles that you have the tag should be visible to.
Step Five: Select 'Confirm.'
How to Rename a Student Tag
Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Student tags page.
Step Two: In the table of tags, select the 'Edit tag' button for the appropriate tag.
Step Three: Update the 'Tag name' field with the new name of the tag.
Step Four: Select 'Confirm.'
How to archive an Existing Student Tag
Step One: Navigate to the Settings > Student tags page.
Step Two: In the table of tags, select the 'Archive tag' button for the appropriate tag.
Step Three: In the pop-up window, select 'Yes' to confirm its archiving.
Note: You may need to refresh the page to see the tag disappear from the table.
