Overview
Nurse users in August Schools can set dietary restrictions for any student at any time. Once saved, a badge appears at the top of the student's card, making restrictions easy to spot before meals, field trips, or classroom snacks.
This article walks nurses through how to set or edit a student's dietary restrictions.
Why set dietary restrictions?
Visible at a glance: a badge at the top of the student card flags restrictions immediately
Always up to date: update restrictions any time a student's needs change
Consistent across your school: everyone selects from the same list of restrictions set by your sysadmin
Set or edit dietary restrictions
Open the student card.
Go to the Conditions tab.
Scroll to the very bottom of the tab to find Dietary Restrictions.
Click Edit Restrictions.
Select or update the dietary restrictions that apply to the student.
Click Save Dietary Restrictions.
A dietary restrictions badge will now appear at the top of the student's card.
đĄ Tip: Don't see the restriction you need? The list of available dietary restrictions is managed under Settings. Reach out to your sysadmin or manager to have it added or modified.
