What will returning parents see?

This article walks through what data and files parents can see during enrollment and the experience as the reviewing practitioner

Updated yesterday

When parents or guardians of returning students complete the enrollment packet in August Schools, they will have visibility to select existing medical information and documents. This medical information can originate from one or a combination of the following sources: a previous enrollment submission, legacy data migration, or day-to-day edits made by the Nurse(s). This article walks through what data and files parents can see, the experience as the reviewing practitioner, and what this means for all other forms in the packet.

Viewable Health Information

The health information that is eligible for review includes:

  1. Medications

  2. Allergies

  3. Conditions

If no changes to the above information are needed, the parent/guardian can submit and continue through the packet.

If the information has changed since the last form collection, the parent/guardian can edit and submit it.

As the practitioner reviewing the form, you will be alerted when there is existing information on file and can choose to retain the existing data or what was newly submitted by the guardian.

PDF Files

If you would like, you can pre-populate the PDF file(s) already on the student's record to the parent to review and submit. This is a setting on the form field template.

Checking this box will surface the document(s) on file that match the file tags assigned exactly.

All other forms?

All other forms/questionnaires included in the enrollment packet (including consent forms) would be completed annually and do not pre-populate with data.
