How to: Document Group Encounters

Updated over a month ago

When documenting an encounter with multiple subjects, the notes recorded within this encounter will be available in each student's history.

Encounter subject line:

Student card >> Encounters tab:

If you do not want the notes in each of the students' histories, you have the following options:

  1. Separate the single encounter into a unique encounter for each subject

    1. Remove all students (or archive the encounter)

    2. Use the universal search bar to open each student's card

    3. Hover over "Open new encounter" and select the encounter template

    4. Repeat for each student card

    5. Close all cards and go to Encounter >> History to open and add notes to each encounter

  2. Create a group and associate this group with the encounter

    1. Create a group of students

    2. Search for that group of students in the Subject line of the encounter

    3. Add the group to the encounter

      1. If you click "break out into individuals" each student will be listed, and therefore the encounter will go to each student's history.
