How to: Start an Enrollment Submission on Behalf of a Parent/Guardian

Learn how to initiate or complete a student's enrollment submission on behalf of a parent or guardian directly from the nurse portal.

πŸ“ NOTE: Starting a submission on behalf of a parent does not remove the parent's ability to view or update the submission afterward.

The August Schools Enrollment feature is designed for parents and guardians to submit health information directly. However, there are times when a nurse or staff member may need to start or complete a submission on a parent's behalf β€” for example, if a family has difficulty accessing the portal or needs in-person assistance during registration.

  1. Log into August Schools

  2. Navigate to the student's profile

  3. Open the Enrollment tab

4. Locate and click into the active enrollment packet and click Start Submission

5. Select Edit Submission

6. Fill out the required fields as provided by the parent or guardian

7. Once completed, click Save as new response

8. Click Approve and review next to move onto the next form submission

πŸ’‘TIP: If this submission needs further review, you may select Next. This will leave the form in 'Needs Review' status until manually approved.
