Overview
The August Schools Files feature lets you set up PDF exports that are filled by a combination of information you enter and data pulled from student and user records onto the file templates of your choice. A California Blue Card is one of these file templates, so generating it follows the same quick, guided workflow.
This article walks users through how to generate a California Blue Card, either directly from a student's card or from the Files Templates page.
Why use the Files feature for California Blue Cards?
Fills itself in automatically: the California Blue Card pulls the details it needs straight from existing student and user records.
Keeps records consistent: every California Blue Card is generated from the same template, so your exports stay uniform.
Saves time: no re-typing information that August Schools already has on file.
