This article covers how to create new schedules for recurring support.

Scheduled support refers to the schedule the user sets for recurring interventions as the scheduled items the platform creates for each instance of an intervention. The user can create scheduled support from the dedicated "List" page in the Schedules feature set as well as the "Scheduled support" tab on the Student Card.

Creating Scheduled Support

  1. Start from either of the following pages:

    1. Navigate first to the List page under the Schedules feature set on the left navigation bar.
      ​

    2. Open a student card and navigate to the "Scheduled support" tab.
      ​

  2. Next, select the Create scheduled support button towards the top left.

  3. You will see the below pop-up window appear that will allow you to add the necessary details for scheduling your support. Depending on the size of your browser window, you may need to scroll within the pop-up window to see all these fields and buttons.
    ​

    The following fields allow you to corresponding information about your scheduled support:

    1. Title allows you to name the scheduled support for easier identification thereafter (e.g., G-tube feeding).

    2. Description allows you specify what actions should be taken as part of the scheduled support (e.g., Give 1 liter of ensure over 2 hours).

    3. Schedule type allows you to chose the type of documentation users will use in the platform when actioning on the scheduled support (e.g., Encounter)

    4. Please note Scheduled support will only accommodate one schedule type.

    5. Subjects allows you to designate which individuals (e.g., students) will receive the scheduled support.

    6. Assignees allows you to designate which platform user should be assigned each scheduled item.

    7. Encounter template allows you to specify which encounter template should be used for documenting the scheduled support when the schedule type is an encounter. This list is dependent on your role in August Schools.

    8. "Add one-off" allows the user to direct the platform to create a foreseen scheduled item that deviates from a regular schedule (e.g., an extra G-tube feeding on a particular day and time)

    9. "Add recurring" allows the user to direct the platform to create scheduled items on a regular schedule (e.g., every week day at 12:00 PM from January 8, 2024 to May 30, 2024)

How to create a one-off scheduled item within a scheduled support

  1. Click the 'Add one-off' button.

  2. Add the date on the one-off scheduled item in the date field.

  3. Add the time of the one-off scheduled item in the time field.

  4. Press 'Add one-off' button to the right to add an additional one-off scheduled item to the scheduled support.

  5. Press 'Add recurring' button to the right to add recurring scheduled items to the scheduled support.

  6. Select the 'Create' button.

How to create a one-off scheduled item within a scheduled support

  1. Click the 'Add recurring' button.

  2. Add the date of the first scheduled item in the Start time date field.

  3. Add the time at which each scheduled item should take place in the Start time time field.

  4. Add the date of the last scheduled item in the End time date field.

    1. Please note there is no time field here because each scheduled item should have the same time.

  5. Select the checkboxes for the day(s) of the week on which the scheduled items should take place in the Days of the week field.

  6. Press 'Add one-off' button to the right to add an additional one-off scheduled item to the scheduled support.

  7. Press 'Add recurring' button to the right to add recurring scheduled items to the scheduled support.

  8. Select the 'Create' button.
