The family portal now includes a Documents tab where you can view health documents your school has on file for your child. For certain document types — like annual physicals — your school may also allow you to upload a new version directly from the portal when it's time to renew. This guide walks you through how to find and use these features.
Step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Navigate to your child's documents
Log in to the family portal
Click the Students tile on your home screen
Find your child's name and click View More
You'll see the Documents tab with all documents your school has made visible to you
💡 Tip: If you have multiple children linked to your account, make sure you've selected the right student before viewing documents.
Step 2: View or download a document
In the Documents tab, you'll see a list of documents on file
Click on any document name to download it to your device
You'll also be able to see when the document was uploaded, the date on the document, and any expiration date if applicable
Step 3: Upload a new version of a document
If your school has enabled uploading for a particular document type (e.g. annual physical), you'll see an Upload button next to that document
Click Upload
A file selector will appear — choose the document you want to submit from your device and click Open
The file will upload and be sent to your school for review
Your school's nurse or administrator will review the document and approve it — once approved, it will appear as the current file on record
💡 Tip: Not all documents will have an Upload button — this depends on what your school has configured. If you don't see an upload option for a document you need to update, reach out to your school directly.
Best Practices
Make sure you're uploading a clear, legible file — PDFs work best
After uploading, the document goes through a review process before it's officially on record, so submit renewals a few days before the expiration date when possible
If you're unsure what file to upload, contact your school's nurse or front office for guidance
